The 1st Regional Kendo
Championships 2005

MKAU was invitied to join the 1st Regional Kendo Championships 2005 whihc was held in Hong Kong on 26-27th Nov 2005. There were 9 teams participating this events with regions from Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Moreover, it was hourable to have IKF president Mr. Yoshimitsu Yakeyasu to delivered his speech and Mr. Eiji Sueno (8 Dan, Kyoshi) to be the chief Referee for this event. Besides the championships, HKKA had also arranged Kendo-Kata and Iaido performances, which lighten the event.

MKAU sent 11 members to join this event. This year championship went to Hong Kong A, and Shanghai A got 2nd runner and Hong Kong B and Beijing A got 3rd runner. Members have got valuable experiences, and 2 members from each of the team got a "Fighting Spirit Trophy".
