29th Foreign Kendo
Leaders' Summer Seminar

Macau Kendo
Associations Union (MKAU) was invited by All Japan Kendo
Federation (AJKF) to join the 29th Foreign Kendo Leaders'
Summer Seminar from 28th July in Kitamoto City. Francis
Cheung and John Lou were selected in attending the
seminar.
There were 51
participants from about 35 countries joining this seminar.
Curriculum included: history of kendo, fundamental
practise, drill in techniques, kendo-kata, refereeing,
coaching etc. On the eighth day, a dan examination was
held and one of our member had successfully passed the
examination. Thereafter, the members went to Tokyo
police kendo dojo, Mitsubishi kendo dojo and JR jodo dojo
for further practises.
The members had gained valuable experiences in these 10
days, and has enhanced their kendo level.
